Masterpieces from Botticelli to van Dyck

This summer the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna is showcasing a modest yet very special exhibition highlight. Indeed, Vienna is to host one of Europe’s most outstanding collections of paintings, that of Tsarina Catherine the Great at the Hermitage in St Petersburg, featuring a dozen paintings by Tintoretto, Poussin, van Dyck, Rembrandt, and other great masters. In combination with works from the Picture Gallery of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna this stellar selection of masterpieces is certain to create an exciting dynamic.
